Our Boats

Frago

Named after a military acronym from Captain Zach’s younger days, the 26′ FRAGO was custom built right here in Wrangell, Alaska! The boat features seating for up to six passengers, a spacious back deck, and a jet-drive for shallow water operations. This vessel is primarily used for our Stikine River and Telegraph Creek tours, but can also be booked for our LeConte Glacier tours and water taxi services.

Island Cat

A catamaran that travels between the islands is the inspiration behind the name of our newest boat! This 38′ high-speed catamaran is a one-of-a-kind vessel in Wrangell. The Island Cat features multiple viewing decks, a bathroom, galley, seating for up to 21 passengers, and a landing craft drop-bow! Its dual catamaran hull will give you the smoothest and most stable ride in the fleet.

This vessel is featured in our LeConte Glacier & Petersburg, Ocean Wildlife, and Anan Wildlife Observatory tours, but can also be booked for water taxis to just about anywhere you can point to on a chart!

Our boats are not ADA certified, however the Island Cat features wider doorways, a large cabin, and a landing-craft bow, which can accommodate almost everyone with some minor assistance from our crew!
