Muddy Water Adventures was started in 2016 by Zachary Taylor, born and raised right here in Wrangell, Zach has a wealth of local knowledge and history of the surrounding area. After working for other tour companies for the last 10 years, Zach decided it was time to take the lead himself. Muddy Water Adventures boat, the FRAGO, was built here in Wrangell and is custom designed for the shallow water up the Stikine River, and for landing on beaches on the surrounding islands.

Zach served 6 years as in Infantyman in the US Army, which is the longest he’s lived outside of his island home. He is a Lieutenant on the local volunteer fire department, where his is an EMT-2 and Firefighter-1, and very active in Search and Rescue operations.
