					Late August Anan Bear Tour We were able to go with Zach for a trip to the Anan Bears Tour. We found Zach to be very personable and knowledgeable. His boat is extremely comfortable; he provided snacks and beverages and a potty. He also coached us on what to expect. I would highly recommend this tour for those interested in looking at bears in their natural habitat. Yes -- we did see bears! The ride and sights around Wrangle are also spectacular.

					Experience of a lifetime This excursion was absolutely fantastic and well worth it. The experience of watching the bears feed in the stream was breath taking. I highly recommend this adventure. Captain Zach and his crew were very welcoming and the boat was super comfortable. DO NOT pass on this excursion. Book it today

					Best excursion EVER - anywhere Zach and Mia were awesome. Professional and friendly. This is truly a local owned and run business (Zach owner)The Anan bear observatory delivered on probably one do the best excursions we’ve ever taken when on a cruise. The bait ride from port is about an hour. Very comfortable boat with super cushy seats and enclosed so you stay warm / dry. The tile at the bears was simply amazing. You can watch and photo them in THEIR environment. Catching and feeding on the salmon. Watching mama bear protect her first year Cubs. This is worthy every penny and you are also supporting a local business and Wrangell.

					Could not be better - terrific tour, boat and staff. This company and its owner are best in class. Fair pricing, fabulous boat (even has a head) and steady ride. Super clean. This clearly is the best way to visit Anan. Tips go to the deck hands. Honestly, one cannot go wrong with Muddy Waters and its people. I wish all tours and operators were so professional!

					Great experience Great ship captain who grew up in Wrangell and came home after serving in the military.. just a wealth of knowledge of the area. We went up the Stikine River to Shakes glacier and waterfalls. This trip took the jet boat . He rebuilt the inside of his boat; is a fireman and met. Can’t beat it

					Glaciers: close-up in personal We arrived into wrangle and we quickly met by our captain Zach. The boat was absolutely amazing… Brand new and he had designed it! The boat holds about 20 and we had a group of nine. We went out to see the absolutely amazing glaciers. The colors were indescribable in the entire trip was fantastic.Want to return again and go see the Bears sometime in July ! Highly recommend this company and would definitely book through them again!

					Outstanding!!! We booked the Water Taxi from Petersburg to Wrangell online and Captain Zach arrived punctual, just for the two of us. Flawless transfer to beautiful Wrangell. We were already happy with the service until a chain of unfortunate events revealed what a great human being the owner/operator of Muddy Waters is. Zach was one of the wonderful first responders helping to extract me from the spot where I fell and badly broke my ankle, just hours into our Wrangell adventure. He also generously accommodated a schedule change for us to return to Petersburg. Much appreciate the great service and your empathy, Zach! Highly recommend Muddy Waters!!

					Black wolves, Blue Ice, Eagles on a berg and spotted seal pups This trip was well worth the expense! We saw a pack of black wolves, newborn seals on the ice flows and spectacular close up with blue ice bergs. Zack, our tour guide and business owner did a great job! He was punctual, picked us up at our yacht in the marina. The jet boat is a jet boat, don’t expect a plush limo with noise cancelling head set, the noise is tolerable and conversation with was easy. He is expert in the operation of his vessel and very knowledgeable. I will hire this company next time I am in Wrangell.
